Join us to see art historian, Sarah Buck, examine the evolution of French costume design in ballets and masquerades of the early modern era. With the assistance of a colorful, dazzling, and delightful cast of characters created by artists of the School of Fontainebleau and of the courts of the Bourbon dynasty, she demonstrates how costume design was shaped by the writings of contemporary dance theorists. It will be an interesting and engaging lesson in history! There also will be cheese and wine at the event, as well!

Complimentary wine and charcuterie plates can be picked up between 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 2/15 at Twin Forks Wine and Provisions (408 Hemphill St, in Downtown Hattiesburg).
